Free Arts is important to me because these people have changed countless lives. . . my life.
When I was younger, my Mom was a drug addict. It was always constant abuse from her and her boyfriends. My Dad finally got custody of us in 2008 after a long time. And three days after we got back here in Minnesota, he passed away of a heart attack. After that, I was with my aunt and uncle and they were also abusive. And so I was finally put into a foster home and through the years I’ve moved a couple of times.
“It’s important because these people have changed countless lives… my life.”
Art is important to my life because it really helped me identify who I am and really helped me express my true emotions.
