FREE ARTS Volunteer News DECember 2009

"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."-- Winston Churchill

WELCOME

happy

Time sure flies when you’re making art, eh? Jim and I have been visiting groups over this past month and are truly inspired by each visit. Seeing your teams in action brings fresh energy into the Free Arts office and enthusiasm to our work! Thank you for your work with the kids and everything you bring to this program.

This month, many of you have ‘doubled-up’ on giving back to the community by decorating grocery bags for Open Arms with your groups. In doing so, you pass on your belief in the value of volunteering to the kids. Open Arms meal donations over the Holidays will be delivered to their clients in cheerfully decorated bags. What an exciting way to spread our mutual passion that Art Heals into the homes of community members in need!

On behalf of all of us at Free Arts Minnesota, Happy & Crafty Holidays to you and yours!

Saying Goodbye
