Years volunteering with Free Arts: Two and a half fantastic years.
I volunteer with Free Arts because... I get to bring a creative, fun, and healthy outlet to kids. And while helping them experience the joy of creating they continue to help me experience what's really important.
My all-time favorite project was... ALL TIME favorite?? That's tough, it's always changing. I really loved volunteering at the MCAD Teen Arts Camp because I was able to mentor teens learning graphic design, my area of emphasis in art.
My most memorable moment in Free Arts programming has been... Singing with the Free Arts youth at the YES to Art! Singers Program this past summer. So many of them were terrified to get up in front of over 100 people and they did a fantastic job. Very proud moment seeing their confidence and smiles.
