  Ever wondered how children enter the foster care system and receive Free Arts Minnesota programming? Want to learn how art heals? Attend Art Rocks! to learn more about these and other questions. These informational, 45 minute sessions inform community members about Free Arts Minnesota programs and how art can heal the scars of abuse. Art Rocks! is held in the Free Arts Minnesota office. Or, contact us about holding an informational session at your office.

• Metro Mural Kick-off 4/1/2008

  April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and we are taking art to the streets. Read More »

  To create awareness, we are turning Minneapolis streets into an art gallery. 30 Free Arts children worked with our volunteers to paint over 19 canvases. They will rotate between 5 bus stops until May 1st. The 5 stops are along the Hennepin Ave corridor in Minneapolis. Plus hear Mayor Rybak's proclamation! Check out the exhibit section for a map of the stops and where you can visit the gallery near you.
  
  The kick-off event was held at 8th St. & Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis. It was attended by Mayor R.T. Rybak and local news stations.

On January 19th from 8 pm to midnight Free Arts Minnesota will be the beneficiary of LUCK of the DRAW at the Minneapolis Club on 729 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN.
