Metro Murals 2010: Healthy Families
Mentor and Child Create Mural
Free Arts youth artwork will brighten the streets again as we raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. Free Arts has ad space on 15 bus stops throughout the Twin Cities for all of April.

Weekly Mentorship teams will create murals inspired by the theme "Healthy Families". On March 27th we're inviting you, your family and friends to join us for a day of art and fun as we celebrate the kickoff of our youth artwork being displayed throughout the Twin Cities. More information on this event is soon to come, so stay posted!

PROGRAM UPDATE

Mentor Workshop Recap

Coloring Outside the LinesLast month, mentors became mentees as Executive Director of ArtiCulture Elizabeth Greenbaum presented on process driven art. "Coloring Outside the Lines" focused on the importance of creative choice in the projects mentors lead with the youth in their groups. This was the first workshop in our new Mentorship Appreciation Workshop Series. After the lecture, mentors got their hands dirty and people came up with some really fun projects with a limited amount of supplies.
